Honda CRF300L Top Speed, Review, Specs and Features

Check in the fastest motorbike; you’ll find the Honda CRF300L top speed at the top. Averaging at a top speed of 70 to 73 mph, which is why most may call it a racing bike. Made for the street, CRF300L is also a good bike for off-road trips and features great power for all trips.

Having a CC of 22.7 @ 8,400 rpm, CF300L weighs only 309 lbs. Unfortunately, there’s only one color to pick from, red. Color, however, is just an A.O.B compared to the high-quality, speed, and fuel consumption of this bike.

Though the CRF300L suspension is non-adjustable, the brakes are excellent; hence rugged terrains won’t be an issue. Neither will rough terrains be!

Honda CRF300L Review

Honda CRF300L Top Speed: 73 mph (117 Km)

Suspension

It’s not a great thing to have a non-adjustable suspension because hitting a bump may cause your bike to lose traction. That’s nothing much to worry you, though, since both tire suspensions stand at 10.2-inch of travel. Consequently, the bumps may not be a big deal if you possess great riding skills.

Tires

The tires’ sizes and rims make your Honda bike excellent for any road, including rugged terrain. I’ll explain more. The front and rear wheels are 21 and 18 inches, respectively. Thanks to the easy-to-maintain rims.

They’re well-polished so cleaning them takes a few minutes. What’s more, once clean, their glossy finish attracts the attention of passers-by, who might be deceived to think it’s a brand-new bike!

Ignition

The digital ignition assures you that you won’t ever panic when riding on new rides because of cases of power shortage. The full transistor is worth it because it also makes your bike lighter due to the elimination of unnecessary moving parts.

With less weight, the motorcycle will also spend less in regard to fuel consumption. Besides, your bike’s performance and emissions should also be improved.

Brakes

The CRF300L comes with high-quality brakes to safeguard your life. No one should die unexpectedly on the road because of failure to stop their brakes when necessary. So, take pride in the hydraulic brakes found in the rear and front tires of this bike.

Regardless of the terrain (rough or smooth), the ABS brakes will offer excellent and instant braking if necessary.

Unlike what you would be able to do with most motorcycles, the CRF300L also allows you to turn the ABS off when on off-road rides. You can do this on the back tires.

Dimensions

The ground clearance of the Honda CRF300L is 11. Inches. The height, on the other hand, is 47.3 inches, while the general length stands at 87.8 inches. The width, however, is 32.2 inches. So, here’s a bike every rider can ride comfortably without feeling fatigued due to long-distance rides.

It’s the seat height that determines if this is ideal for short or tall guys, right? Well, it stands at 57.2 inches which is equal to the wheelbase.

With a curb weight of 309 at a full tank, CRF300L is on the list of light bikes to buy.

Closing Line

Though Honda CRF300L’s top speed is 75 mph, the speed could go down or increase based on various factors. Take, for example, the wind, road conditions, and weather. Plus, your riding skills come into play, too.

So, what may sound to be high for you when riding this bike might not be so when another rider takes a ride.

If you’ve been using racing bikes and want to maximize the highest speed (75 mph), it’s possible to do so by modifying the suspension. I would, however, only recommend doing this if you won’t mind losing the warrant. Not a good idea, though.

So, what do you think? Shouldn’t you consider the CRF300L over your ordinary motorcycle? Absolutely, you should!
